Fight Club | The Inner Struggle | Ed Norton, Brad Pitt, Elena Bonham-Carter | Where is your Mind?

Fight club 2Fight club scene

Never mind what the psychologists might tell you, Fight Club is about breaking away from the matrix of consumerism and the programmed mind, it’s about finding out who you are. But you can see the movie, if you haven’t, and figure that out. (Some say the book is better. I haven’t read it yet) What I want to discuss here is the song that is played during the end credits: Where is my mind? by The Pixies. Check the lyrics:

Where is My Mind? by The Pixies
Ooooooh – stop

With your feet on the air and your head on the ground
Try this trick and spin it, yeah
Your head’ll collapse
If there’s nothing in it
And you’ll ask yourself

Where is my mind [3x]

Way out in the water
See it swimmin’

I was swimmin’ in the Carribean
Animals were hiding behind the rocks
Except for little fish
when they told me, east is west
Trying to talk to me, coy koy

Where is my mind [3x]

Way out in the water
See it swimmin’ ?

With your feet on the air and your head on the ground
Try this trick and spin it, yeah
Your head’ll collapse
If there’s nothing in it
And you’ll ask yourself

Where is my mind [3x]

Ooooh
With your feet on the air and your head on the ground
Ooooh
Try this trick and spin it, yeah
Ooooh
Ooooh

We can ask this question trying to figure out the mind’s actual location. (Is it in the brain?) Or we can ask it trying to figure out why is it running away in senseless wanderings. (Where is it going?) Either way, it is an excellent question to ask in many instances. Where is my mind? Another good question is: Who am I? We should find out. Don’t you think?

Bradley Manning Sentenced | 35 Years | A Travesty of Justice

bradley manning

Bradley Manning has been sentenced to 35 years in jail for letting the American public know of war crimes committed by the military (the criminals haven’t been charged yet, as far as I know). Edward Snowden had to flee the country for reporting extreme government surveillance on US citizens, and Julian Assange had to seek refuge in Ecuador’s embassy persecuted for his work on Wikileaks. What does that tells you? We don’t really have a justice system; we have a government controlled by sociopaths and criminals who are above the law; Manning’s trial was a travesty of justice. If you have any doubts regarding the fact that we have a sick socio-economic system just click here: David Chandler 2010 “9/11 Analysis”  And if you think you can afford to turn a blind eye on all this, I wish you luck. “May the odds be ever in your favor”

By the way, are you still doing business with any of the big banks?

Head Turning Graffiti | Another Riddle | September

I am getting ready for September. Since Tucson is not one of the cities included in our rethink 9/11 campaign (The ReThink911 ads will appear in the following cities ReThink911 through the month of September, reaching tens of millions of people.)  I am designing my own campaign with graffiti on my car. So far it is turning heads and getting the information out, inexpensively. Check pictures below:

I also have a short poem for you, and a question:

Remember! Remember!

September 11,

Deceit, Treason, and more. . .

Systemic War, Ongoing Death

Three Thousand Blown away.

Remember September “O” One.

My question is: Taking the first two words as a hint, from where did I get my inspiration for this poem?  Can you tell?
