Bradley Manning Sentenced | 35 Years | A Travesty of Justice

bradley manning

Bradley Manning has been sentenced to 35 years in jail for letting the American public know of war crimes committed by the military (the criminals haven’t been charged yet, as far as I know). Edward Snowden had to flee the country for reporting extreme government surveillance on US citizens, and Julian Assange had to seek refuge in Ecuador’s embassy persecuted for his work on Wikileaks. What does that tells you? We don’t really have a justice system; we have a government controlled by sociopaths and criminals who are above the law; Manning’s trial was a travesty of justice. If you have any doubts regarding the fact that we have a sick socio-economic system just click here: David Chandler 2010 “9/11 Analysis”  And if you think you can afford to turn a blind eye on all this, I wish you luck. “May the odds be ever in your favor”

By the way, are you still doing business with any of the big banks?

Apathy, The American Way? | Collateral Murder

I know, many people are in denial; they don’t want to hear it. It is easier to turn a blind eye, look the other way, deny it . . . But it is happening, and for obvious reasons: Those who think they can entrust their children’s future to the entity who is in power right now are in delusion. Check this:  A Collateral Murder  (And for exposing the truth, private Manning is awaiting trial and Julian Assange (WikiLeaks) extradition.)

But in spite of everything, the occupation is growing. In spite of the mainstream media hiding it, the Occupy Movement is thriving . . . Look! It is global!

14 Arrested at Cruz Home, Vowing Needless Foreclosure “Stops Here”

“We will reoccupy the Cruz home AGAIN tomorrow at 2pm on the one month anniversary of our 24/7 eviction blockade at the Cruz family home. Freddie Mac, PNC Bank, and Mayor Rybak have a choice to make: waste more city resources arresting peaceful protesters, or work to keep the Cruz family in their home. WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED.”

Wake up! for whatever we sow, we shall also reap. Let’s clean house!

Democracy Now! | WikiLeaks “The Petro Caribe Files” | Government Corruption

“The Nation magazine, in partnership with the Haitian weekly newspaper, Haïti Liberté, has launched a series of reports based on more than 19,000 classified U.S. diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks. Called “The PetroCaribe Files,” the series begins with an exposé of how the United States—with pressure from Exxon and Chevron—tried to interfere with an oil agreement between Haiti and Venezuela that would save Haiti, the poorest country in the Western hemisphere, $100 million per year.”

The quote above is reason enough to take to the streets and demand a new government. I am sure they will also try to kill the electric car. To read the whole article go to: WikiLeaks Cables Reveal “Secret History” of U.S. Bullying in Haiti at Oil Companies’ Behest

Why the World Needs WikiLeaks | Julian Assange

I found this video about WikiLeaks on TED.com.

Considering the power that the corporate state wields over our government  and the media at the moment (we are not a democracy anymore), WikiLeads deserves our support. Julian Assange is doing his job; most of our media is controlled by private interests. Check it out:

War! What good is it for? | Bring back our Troops! | Collateral Murder

“Update: On July 6, 2010, Private Bradley Manning, a 22 year old intelligence analyst with the United States Army in Baghdad, was charged with disclosing this video (after allegedly speaking to an unfaithful journalist). The whistleblower behind the Pentagon Papers, Daniel Ellsberg, has called Mr. Manning a ‘hero’. He is currently imprisoned in Kuwait. The Apache crew and those behind the cover up depicted in the video have yet to be charged. To assist Private Manning, please see bradleymanning.org.

5th April 2010 10:44 EST WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video depicting the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad — including two Reuters news staff.

Reuters has been trying to obtain the video through the Freedom of Information Act, without success since the time of the attack. The video, shot from an Apache helicopter gun-sight, clearly shows the unprovoked slaying of a wounded Reuters employee and his rescuers. Two young children involved in the rescue were also seriously wounded.”

I could not get access to the video in You Tube, too many restrictions. But you should be able to see it following the link below. what is shown here is not uncommon practice in any war, but the media is controlled by the ones profiting from war, so we never see it.  http://www.collateralmurder.com/
