I am a fan of yours. But if you keep letting doctors slice you up (as if you were a tomato or a potato) to cure or prevent your cancer, I will not be your fan anymore. You mean you haven’t heard of Big Pharma? They don’t want to cure your cancer, they want to get your money. Cancer is big business. What about Brad? Is he advising you to do this? Then, I will not be his fan anymore either.

Review on: Wanted | J. McAvoy, A. Jolie, M. Freeman

I tried to review this movie on Amazon, but you have to buy the video there and avoid words like f@#k. I am avoiding it here just in case it may offend somebody. But I really don’t understand because it’s really one of the words most  used in the English language, at least in America. Then again, maybe I do understand; we are members of a rotting socioeconomic system that doesn’t bat an eye at the murder of thousand of innocent people in immoral wars for profit, but maybe the word “f@#k” can offend some sort of “morality” in it–hypocrisy at its best. I am including an hilarious video by Osho, on the word f@#k, at the end of this post that even suggests a meditation on the famous word, but please read my review first; it has a message. Thanks!

I am writing this review because everyone I read missed the point. It’s true that this is an action film with chases, shootings, gore and lots of special effects, Hollywood’s preferred way to distract you and get your attention away from other issues. But it is not just that; it also has a message. Remember the last line? The bullet is retreating after it finished the last of the bad guys, and in the process the main character (Wesley) is remembering his struggle to first, get out of an insipid useless life, and now finally finishing his entanglement with assassins. The bullet reaches his weapon, he looks at the audience and says: “. . . and what the f@#k are you doing?”
In today’s world, that is an excellent question, “What the f@#k are we doing with our lives?” And I am afraid that regretfully, like most reviewers, most people will miss it.

This is, I believe, the actual quote: “This is me taking control from Sloan (last assassin, M. Freeman), from the fraternity, from Janice from billing reports, from ergonomic keyboards, from cheating girlfriends and a sack of shit best friends. This is me taking back control of my life. (now is when he looks at the audience and asks) . . . and what the fuck have you done lately?

Isn’t that the challenge?

But wait, what am I doing? You can’t ask yourself that question, you have been programmed, and your program will not allow it. Right?

If they killed David and his family (a heinous crime) they are definitely scared; now is the time to act. Silence is treason.  Silence is cowardice.  Spread the word, and let’s get that movie out. Let’s show them that for every one of us they kill hundreds will rise. The time is now!

War is the new holocaust! A few sociopaths are getting rich and reducing the world’s population to a manageable size. Ah, so true, when we lose our virtue we are easy prey for vipers.

Talented Cveta studied Applied Graphics at National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria.  She has over 30 theater productions in her country (Bulgaria) and abroad, in which she was a designer of costumes and scenery. In 2002  she started her own TV-show and documentary.

To the Tucson Folk Festival | A Note

I have to apologize to those who expected to find me at the Folk Festival in Tucson. A lady displaying an adorable smile told me that I was competing with the paying vendors. She couldn’t allow me there anymore (I used to show my books, under some trees, by the entrance).

There wasn’t a change of management, she explained; it was her own idea of fairness. But what is fairness?

Everyone has a right to make a living, and to some, it is impractical or impossible to pay for a booth to sell a few items; it doesn’t make sense. Is it fair to kick them out? We are part of a socioeconomic system that keeps the ones who have above all others, but that is not “fairness.” To exclude the ones who can’t is not “fairness” is egotism. And that is why we are in the sorry situation in which we are right now–a banking cabal is stealing the country’s wealth and performing terrorist attacks. When we lose our virtue, we are easy prey for vipers. We need to change our direction.

The irony here is that that is what my books do: awake the reader. But I guess we don’t want to awake, and it is better to keep books away; we rather get killed in our ignorance. If that is the case, so be it. But keep in mind that we always reap what we sow; our ignorance and egotism will yield a sour fruit, either for ourselves or our descendants. We are already in the Hunger Games, reaping what we have sown: our youth is fighting for the pleasure and profit of a few sociopaths. And it will get worse. May the odds be ever in your favor. o
